Summerhill Studio can suggest a a wide variety of session players that are available to assist you in making your recording as professional as possible.  With years of studio experience, and very reasonable hourly rates, these talented musicians can play almost any style of music with very little pre-rehearsal. Summerhill Studio can recommend a selection of professional musicians that can play virtually any instrument. These musicians, however, are hired personally by the artist and will work directly for you- their services are not included in the studio packages or rates.

Joe Morgan, Guitar/Bass

Joe is an incredible guitar player that can play almost anything with strings- acoustic and electric guitar, bass, slide guitar, dobro, mandolin and more.  He has played on hundreds of different projects over the past 20 years and can play all the string instruments for your project or just contribute a guitar solo!

Chris Doyle

Studio Drummer

Ever since his uncle gave Chris his first drum set while in junior high school, very few days have gone by that Chris is not tapping a beat on something.  An accomplished studio drummer who is comfortable playing rock, country, gospel and pop, Chris is the steady backbone of your studio rhythm section. Jeff Lovett, Keyboards/Synth

Jeff's first keyboard was a Wurlitzer "Magic Chord" organ at the age of 9- and he's been hooked on keys every since.  Versed in many different styles of music, Jeff can add meaty chords to your track, velvet strings on top or a thumping synth bass line.  And with an arsenal of 10 different keyboards (including his Korg Triton Studio 88), you'll find virtually any sound found in nature (and thousands that definitely aren't), right at his fingertips and ready to spice up your tracks!

Mike Jones, Guitar

When asked why he is a staff session musician for Summerhill Studio, Mike Jones says it's just because he "loves to play."  Mike is comfortable and accomplished on both acoustic and electric guitar and can play just about style from rock-n-roll to blues.  And with his easy going attitude, Mike is a joy to work with in the studio, taking his time learning your music and making suggestions on voicings and arrangements.  If you need a dependable guitar player for your sessions, call on Mike to do the job!
